Skunk Cabbage at the Hunt

Abigail Rorer’s engraving Skunk Cabbage has been selected to be included in the 14th International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration held at the Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. The exhibit opens with a preview reception September 26, 2013 from 6–8pm, with the exhibit on display through December 19, 2013.

Mesembs: The Titanopsis Group

The Little Sphaeroid Press will be publishing a series of eight books covering all the plants in the succulent plant family Mesembryanthemum, written by Steven Hammer. Abigail Rorer has been commissioned to do engravings for all eight covers. The first book on the Titanopsis group came out in March 2013.

Walden Woods Award

In July 2012, Abigail was commissioned to do an engraving of the first Walden Woods Project Global Environmental Leadership Award. The recipient of the bronze statue by Mark Hopkins was President Bill Clinton and four environmental leaders from around the country received the framed engraving of the statue.
