Each year St. Michael’s Printshop in Newfoundland, Canada, invites international, national and provincial artists who wish to come and work at the Printshop for a one-month period. Abigail Rorer was the Visiting Artist for August, 2010.

Reginald Farrer was a botanist with strong opinions about the plants he liked and disliked. A previous book from The Lone Oak Press, Mimpish Squinnies, winner of the Gregynog Prize, focused on 14 plants that Farrer deemed worthless.
